Hi, %username%, my name is Igor Munkin and I am a software engineer.
I hold an MSc in Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics from the Lomonosov Moscow State University. My final thesis focused on fast recursive methods for convolution with Hermite functions and its application for image preprocessing. The paper has not yet been published but I’ll try my best to do it before my 30th (heh).
I am a LuaVela (also known as uJIT) developer – a Lua interpreter that was initially a fork of LuaJIT but grew up to become a complex platform with enhanced runtime and JIT compiler and a great toolbox for Lua performance analysis.
Now I work on Tarantool – a Lua application server with a DBMS on board. My main responsibility is maintaining the LuaJIT fork and its integration with the host platform.
Look at my code
- git.imun.cloud – projects I am excited about and working on in my spare time (also mentioned in the header)
- github – mostly projects I’ve contributed to (also mentioned in the footer)
